Our rules are in place to ensure everyone's safety and optimum experience.

Registering GuestsGuests can be registered online or at the store during store hours. If the store is closed, there is a black box on the store door with paper to register your guest once they arrive. Please indicate the Lot #, the date and time as well as the Camper’s name and the Visitor’s name. The paper should then be placed in the black box and payment should be made via e-transfer or to the store during store hours. You can also register guests by clicking here. Guest parking is available in one of three places, the parking area off of Main Street, along the fence on the east side of the park and/or in the front parking lot. Guests are not permitted to park at, or on, your site. No parking permitted at, on, or near empty sites.

Buying Guests PassesGuest passes (Day Passes and Overnight Passes) can be purchased at the store during store hours or by clicking here.

Registering Multiple GuestsYou can prepay for multiple guest passes. As an example: 3 overnight visitors (3 x $15.00 = $45.00). You can pre-register guests by clicking here.

Gate CardsGate cards for seasonal campers are at a cost of $25.00 plus HST and are non-refundable. Gate access cards for transient campers are $20 REFUNDABLE at the end of your stay.

License of OccupationAll sites are individually licensed at Lucky Loon Family Campground Inc. Occupancy dates are from the weekend before the May long weekend (Friday at 1pm) and closes the Monday of Thanksgiving weekend. Each License of Occupation is per season only. License of Occupations do not carry over year to year. You cannot use Lucky Loon Campground as your mailing address, nor can you refer to it as your home address. The License of Occupation contract is for 2 adults and 3 children (16 years and younger). Children must be accompanied by the adults on the contract if they are on site. Any additional adult added to the site contract must be approved by Management. They must also sign the License of Occupation and are able to use the site during the park's occupancy dates. Second Family Usage carries an additional cost. Please speak to Management.

Additions To SiteAny additions to your site and/or unit must be pre-approved by Management prior to any construction. This includes fencing, decking, sheds, add-a-rooms, garden walls and all structures. All decks must be built in 10x8 sections. Meaning no more than 10' (out from the front of your trailer) x 8' long and no more than the length of your trailer. Decks shall be built at ground level with 2x6 pressure treated framing so as to be easily moved. There are to be NO permanent structures, wooden sheds, wooden gazebos or any other built structures that cannot easily be moved. Gazebos shall not exceed 10' x 10' and sheds shall, at all times, be in good repair and shall not exceed 8' x 8'. It is preferred that no railings be installed but if there is an absolute need to have them then they are not to exceed 36" in height.

Changing Sites, Trailers and/or Exiting the ParkAnyone situated on a site who then decides to switch sites, change trailers and/or exit the park will be charged $500 plus HST. This fee is for site repair, equipment usage and/or preparation for the next seasonal camper coming in. If a seasonal camper is exiting the park we ask that your site is cleared of all of your belongings, including decks in disrepair, gazebos, blocks etc. Before any items are promoted for selling to other campers within the park please speak to management.

Deck Size ParametersWe ask that all decks be no more than 10’ out from your trailer and no longer than the length of your trailer. They also need to be at ground level and built out of 2x6 framing. It is our preference that no railings be installed, however if you absolutley must have one than thay are not to exceed 36" in height. We also offer decks professionally built for sale in 8x10 sections. Included in the purchase of one of our decks is levelling and installation.

Enclosed Structure On SiteYou are permitted to have a removable gazebo and it must be tied down to prevent blowing into other peoples’ trailers in wind storms. If the gazebo prevents you from having room for two vehicles on your lot then the gazebo will need to be removed. Permanent (i.e. wood structure) gazebos are not permitted. Any enclosed structure could be exposed to a handing down of a tax levy, via MPAC as they will impose tax on enclosed structures.

Roofs Over TrailersAbsolutely NO roofs over trailers.

Selling Your TrailerWe do not encourage selling of trailers, golf carts or any other items within the park. If you have an interested party in purchasing your trailer please note that they must enquire and be approved as a seasonal camper of the park by management. If management or staff shows your trailer and acts as an agent for the transaction there is a $500 service fee.

ShedsAll sheds need to be no greater than 8x8 and in good repair at all times. There are to be no canvas (tent-like) sheds on, or near your site.

Site OccupancyThe sites are designed for 5 people (2 adults and 3 children)with one sleeping structure (Trailer). Daily visitors must register and pay visitor’s fee online and must leave the campground by 11:00 pm. All guests on site after that time will be charged an overnight fee. Do not wash dishes , clothing, pets or other equipment in the washrooms.

Care of your SiteAt all times your grass needs to be cut and trimmed. After two weeks you will be reminded to cut and trim it. If it goes 3 weeks management will cut and trim it and a fee of $50 will be charged. If this reoccurs then management may restrict access to the park until your site is attended to. There shall be NO garbage, lumber, patio stones and or blocks left on your site, including under your trailer and or behind your trailer.

Septic Pump OutsPlease see the store for a copy of the simple step-by-step pump out procedure.

Tents on your siteNo tents are to be erected on or near your site without prior written management approval. There will zero consideration for tents larger than a small pop-up tent and or if having a tent crowds your site and or the enjoyment of campers around you. Even small pop-up tents must have the written approval of management and such requests need to be done through email. Any tent must NOT have ground pegs so as to not risk hitting a water line or electrical service.

Off-grid Bunkie RentalsOff-grid Bunkies can be rented through clicking the following link Book Your Stay Our bunkies are an alternative to traditional tent camping. Please note you will need to bring your own air mattresses, bedding, cookware. We supply BBQ, picnic table and camp fire pit. No outside firewood is permitted by Government law. All requests are handled on a first come, first serve basis..

What to expect upon arrival with your Tailer/RVIf you are looking to reserve a site with us please click here Upon your arrival you will park to the right side of the main gate, proceed to the store and check-in. Someone will then guide you to your site and at the same time deliver your firewood, ice or whatever you many need to ensure your stay is everything we can help make it be! For your convenience there is a dumping station upon your leaving the park and is included in the price of your stay.

If I leave the park during my stay can I re-enter it at any time?Should you want to head to town etc during your stay with us we offer gate access cards (available for rent during your stay and are fully refundable at the end of your stay). Please note that park entry after dark is prohibited and so if you are returning late you can park your vehicle in the front parking lot and walk to your site.

BeachSwimming is at your own risk! NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY! Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult no younger than 16 years. Safety equipment is for Emergency Use Only. No rough play in the water or on any of the inflatable water toys (trampoline, NO jumping off of slide, etc.) All water structures are designed for children under 16 years of age. BEACH IS OFF LIMITS AT DUSK.

DishwashersDishwashers are not permitted.

FirewoodDO NOT BRING FIREWOOD INTO THE PARK. There is an order from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency not to move firewood, fines are up to $50,000.00 for transporting infected wood. Dry firewood is for sale at the store or available for purchase online and can be delivered right to your site. Cutting, defacing or nailing/screwing into a tree at the park is also prohibited. Please keep our trees healthy. If you would like a load of firewood delivered to your site, please ensure you order it before Wednesday of that week. You can place your order by emailing admin@luckylooncampground.com or by clicking here. We offer a Kubota tractor bucket of wood, just shy of half a cord. You can also buy a bag of firewood at the store and we will do our best to deliver that for you as well if you are unable to take it with you.

HottubsHot tubs are not permitted.

InternetWe do not offer internet through the park. We recommend Starlink’s RV Service for the more reliable alternative. There is a complimentary hotspot for your convenience at the Rec Hall (Pavilion).

Laundry MachinesLaundry machines are not permitted inside your trailer. Laundry facilities are provided in the Rec Hall/Pavilion.

Store HoursThe regular store hours are: Monday to Saturday 9:00 am to 11:00 am 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm CLOSED WEDNESDAYS (We will still be available should you need us though) Sunday 9:00 am to 11:00 am 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm We will extend these hours over the busy weekends.

Watersports EquipmentWatersport rentals such as canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and peddle boats can be rented online and/or at the store during store hours. Every person renting a canoe, kayak, paddle board or peddle boat must be 16 years or older or must be accompanied by an adult. Life jackets are mandatory (PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN).

Alcoholic BeveragesConsumed on your campsite only. Unless otherwise approved by Management; i.e.: special events,etc. Loud parties and music as well as immoral conduct, drunkenness, and offensive language etc. WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. You will be asked to leave the park without a refund. Driving a golf cart while under the influence is strictly prohibited and can result in being asked to leave the park, without a refund.

CampfiresEach campsite includes a fire pit and picnic table, which are to remain on the site. Fire pits are not to be relocated on the site and are not to be used as an ashtray for cigarette butts, nor garbage, (a minimum $25.00 clean up fee applies). Campfires must be low by 11:00 pm and any unattended fires will be extinguished and a warning will be given. More than one occasion and you could be banned from campfires at your site. NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD IS PERMITTED - If caught you will be asked to remove the firewood and could risk loosing the privilege of campfires at your site.

CannabisSmoking or vaping of tobacco or cannabis (medical or recreational), and the use of e-cigarettes (including e-cigarettes containing cannabis; medical or recreational) is prohibited in designated areas of the Park in accordance with the applicable provincial legislation and regulations, as amended from time to time. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the aforementioned smoking, vaping or use of e-cigarettes is prohibited in all sheltered (roofed) common areas within the Park and in all playground, beach and performance areas used by other campers and within 20 meters of the same. If the occupant generates smoke or vapors from tobacco or cannabis (medical or recreational) that interferes with the reasonable enjoyment of other occupants of the Park, the Occupant will be asked to take steps to minimize the interference or disturbance to others or refrain from generating such smoke, subject only to Human Rights considerations. The Occupant shall not cultivate, grow, produce, purchase or distribute any cannabis plant or product in any areas within the Park, including on the site. We reserve the right at ANY TIME to BAN ALL RECREATIONAL CANNABIS at LUCKY LOON FAMILY CAMPGROUND INC. THE ABOVE STATEMENT will be enforced if needed. Please do not ruin it for the rest of the responsible people. Please be respectful and try to keep it to a minimum. If you need to do it while your neighbour is out on the deck with their children, please go inside your trailer. There are families next door to you, not everyone agrees with it, not everyone likes the smell or wants their children exposed to it. We are just asking everyone to think of others and not just themselves as we are a family!

Check-In/Check-OutWe welcome you on site any time after 12:00 pm. Check-in time will be no later than 8:00 pm. Should your site not be ready upon arrival, you are welcome to park in the overflow parking area and enjoy your day at the campground. Check out time is 11:00 am. Please see us if you would like to extend your stay (subject to availability). Gate access for in and out privileges is available with a fully refundable $20 deposit.

ChildrenChildren are the responsibility of their adults. Please ensure children are properly supervised at all times, especially around fires, cooking stoves, the playground and the lake (NO LIFEGUARD) Playground is open from 8:00 am until the street lights/post lights come on. No parent at the beach = no children of said parent at the beach. Please, it is for safety's sake.

Electric Golf Carts, Scooters, Mopeds and E-BikesElectric golf carts, scooters, mopeds and E-bikes are NOT permitted. The current electrical grid at the campground cannot support the power required for charging nor a charging station.

Extra FridgeExtra fridge on site will be charged an extra fee per year. SMALL FRIDGE $125.00 LARGE FRIDGE $175.00. Any extra fridge needs to be kept out of site from other campers and it and its contents' well-being are the site owner's responsibility. The park is not responsible should anything go missing from your fridge.

Extra VehicleThere is a fee for extra vehicles (see office for details) All sites include 2 (two) vehicles only. Daily car pass is $7.00 plus HST and must be registered and a season car pass is $200.00 plus HST and must be registered. Your vehicles, including your golf cart, if applicable, must all fit on your site.

FireworksThe personal use of fireworks is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

GarbageGarbage is at the front gate of the park in the two bins marked for garbage. The third bin is for recycling. There will also be garbage pick up on Saturday afternoons (and Sundays of a long weekend). There will be a vehicle driving by your site for you to place your garbage in. We ask that garbage is no bigger than kitchen garbage bag size and only contains regular household waste.

LiabilityWe do not assume liability for loss or damage due to fire, theft, vandalism, accident or otherwise to the trailer or car or their contents, beyond our control.

Quiet Time/NoiseThis is a Family Park. Please be courteous to each other. No extremely loud or vulgar music at ANY time. Quiet time is from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. This means, nothing but a whisper should be used after 11:00 pm. Kids should be on their site when the Park light goes on. No kids on the roads after dark. No golf cart use once the street lights come on.

ParkingAll sites are sized for 2 vehicles, golf cart (if applicable) and your trailer. If you cannot fit you vehicle(s) on your own site and your golf cart (if applicable), your deck is oversized, or you have an excessive amount of extra things on your site.

PaymentFor security purposes, all contracted (seasonal) payments are to be paid by Debit, Chq, Bank Draft or E-transfer to payment@luckylooncampground.com only. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR SEASONAL PAYMENTS.

PetsWe welcome your family pet, however we must insist that ALL dogs be on a leash at all times, even on your site (unless in “Dog Park”). Pets are not permitted on the main beach, playground or washrooms. Dogs must swim in the designated area (dog beach) and must stay clear of the childrens’ water apparatus. We also have an off-leash dog park for our furry friends to enjoy. Off-leash dog park rules will be strictly enforced. All dog owners must fill out an Off-Leash Dog Park Waiver Form (click here to download) Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets (waste bags are available at the store) and are asked to keep barking, etc. to a minimum). Please discuss service animal access with Management. Proof of vaccination must be provided - tick medication is strongly recommended. Owners must be supervised by their dogs at all times.

RefundsThere are NO REFUNDS at any time. ALL sales are FINAL. This also includes deposits given.

Speed LimitThe speed limit in the park is 10 kilometers per hour. We have people walking, riding, skipping, running and playing everywhere. We are a family environment, be respectful. This would eliminate dusting out people, eliminate chances or rocks spitting up and hitting someone and eliminate the chances of losing control of your vehicle and running someone over. Guests are not permitted to drive golf carts in the park. You are responsible for informing your guests of the speed limit and rules.
